And when its participants might not have a lot of household names, this year Puerto Rico boasts a duo of former Ryder Cup mates in Luke Donald and Ian Poulter, each looking for answers.
In 2010, Ian won the match-play event, and this notes the very first time he is missing the event since the year 2003. The Brit was 1st alternate and had stayed at home in Orlando in the expectations of someone drawing back from 64 man field, but he headed for Isle of Enchantment when it was very clear that would not take place.
On Wednesday, Ian told that obviously the decision to come here was an easy one. The obvious choice for him at this point of time is to keep playing golf. Weeks off does not do him any good. Looking at his numbers, he has just been hitting a couple of poor shots per round, but those poor shots have been very damaging.
