World number three in golf Luke Donald has extended his contract with club makers Mizuno, which will see the Englishman use the clubs from the Japanese manufacturers for the next couple of years. Considered to be one of the finest iron player, Donald has won a staggering 13 titles using the equipment supplied by the Japanese company including in the best season of his career in 2011 which saw him climb to the top of the money lists in both the European Tour and the PGA Tour, a feat that no golfer has ever managed to achieve.

Donald is well known for his amazing skills as an iron and wedge player and he regularly provides the engineers at Mizuno with valuable and extremely significant feedback which helps them develop newer products with those specifications. Mizuno, which crafts all its golfing equipments at its plant in Hiroshima in Japan, is known for the quality and precision that is favored by shot makers such as Luke Donald. The Englishman was first spotted by Mizuno representatives during his time at Northwestern University and was signed by the Japanese company as a brand ambassador back in 2003 after which he has managed to record 13 wins, all using equipment supplied by Mizuno.
